Hello, I'm Joshua Aponte

Joshua Aponte is an Artist. Predominantly an Actor, Model, & Digital Content Creator looking to express art in all ways, shapes, and forms.

Born in New Haven Connecticut, the young boy chose to pursue Acting and has been passionately performing and creating ever since. It all started as a hobby and evolved into a life vision. He began exploring the craft of performance at the Little Theater in New Haven and would play in various roles for staged plays. After consistently enjoying the creative process, his journey evolved by attending The Education Center For The Arts (E.C.A). A program where he would have his core high school education in the morning and leave in the afternoon to a higher arts institution to further develop his creative and artistic skills.

Upon graduation from two high school programs, it was no surprise that Joshua would make another significant step to pursue a degree in Acting. He attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. It would become evident that he would make his way in the world pursuing artistic creation. The adventure that is New York City provides quite the environment for education regardless of your goal. Joshua continued working on his education while also learning to be a New Yorker managing life’s daily hustle and bustle. A journey of growth to understanding what needs to take place to pursue the performance art form outside of education.

Ironically leaving New York jump-started the steps toward taking on different projects and productions. Joshua initially took action by creating www.joshuaaponte.info in a raw form and eagerly looked for any opportunity to perform. A great introduction to the business of Acting because the experience and process of applying for auditions, booking gigs, and working various skills and abilities for requiring circumstances would demand Joshua to expand. It would force him to become highly observant of the work needed in the process at different stages and levels. From Hollywood scale productions and sets in Time Square to even some tiny remote location for filming, Joshua continued to enjoy the pursuit.

As many artists live their lives, they experience the world beyond the passion they pursue. Joshua’s journey is a blend between the world of his visions and that of our collective truth. We all experience a reality that is life, and it’s the various layers of energy that honestly give the artist the desire to create and express. The journey of life makes the artist want to create passionately. Joshua is looking forward to publishing the books he’s been writing regarding the adventures along the way. Joshua is excited to soon formally publish his book and share more about how he arrived in the present moment.

Joshua is eagerly taking on projects that allow him to create further, and he looks to expand as an artist with each experience.
